5 Ways To Eat Healthier in Restaurants

Going out to restaurants is very popular in peoples lives today and it is often times hard to find good meals that are healthy. Ok so if you like to eat out alot at restaurants, then it is going to be an obstacle to overcome eating foods rich in fat.

Actually, eating out in restaurants accounts for one of the main reasons that people get fat while traveling.

Ok so below I am going to give you some very simple techniques that you can use when you eat out to stay healthy and lean.

3 of the most important things you want to avoid when you eat out are:

  1. Any deep fried foods – battered stuff and trans fat
  2. Refined starch foods
  3. All sodas, juices or any other sugary drink

Now if you can skip on consuming any of those 3 nasty culprits of fat, you will be in good shape. Those are the worst sources of trans fat, refined vegetable oils and carbs.

This means you should not eat the breads, french fries that come as a side dish, and the heaping portions of rice.

Instead, try to eat meat with side vegetables and salad and substitute those for all the side dishes like mentioned above. I get alot of flack from people who tell me that I’m not living if I skip on the side of fries and instead opt for the salad. I laugh and say “Are you kidding?”

These are the same people who complain about being overweight and can’t seem to understand why they can’t lose weight.

This is the same for fast food too that has the side of fries and sodas and junk like that. Next time substitute those for some veggies or salad. This simple substitution can save you up to 900 calories of fat, and you are cutting oout the most harmful foods to your body as well.
